Our cheerful ice blue knitted diplodocus dinosaur soft toy measures approx. 27cm high x 40cm long so he is a wonderfully large dinosaur toy, but fortunately not as big as the original Diplodocus which was 90 - 175 feet long and weighed up to 12 tons! Such a large Dinosaur would make someone a great friend, a perfect gift for dinosaur-mad kids everywhere.  

In real life, the Diplodocus had one of the smallest brains of the dinosaur family, but it was still way ahead of the Stegosaurus which had the brain the size of a walnut! It didn't need to be the brightest as it had no natural enemies, perhaps because of its sheer size or maybe because it looks so friendly?
